May is the month of Pre-eclampsia awareness
For the third time, EFCNI engages in the pre-eclampsia awareness month of May, by organising its international campaign Act early! Screen early! With this campaign, we want to play our part in ensuring a safe and healthy pregnancy. Advocating for early risk assessment in pregnancy is our mission and we are thrilled to have so many supporters on board this year! These times have been challenging, official launch dates had to be cancelled but still, international healthcare societies, medical experts and patient representatives from Europe and beyond, have joined forces to state why educating patients and doctors as well as sharing knowledge and experience is so important when it comes to establishing and advancing pre-eclampsia awareness.
We are happy to provide new campaign material for 2020. +++ Selfie Flashmob on World Pre-eclampsia Day 22 May 2020 +++
Since we want to do our part to support the healthcare workforce in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, we stay home and public and social events take place digitally where possible. Yet, we do not want to miss out on joining World Pre-eclampsia Day on 22 May! Therefore, we plan a digital flashmob where everyone who wants to speak up for early risk assessment, monitoring of high-risk patients and access to information about this pregnancy complication, can join.
